Dr. David Alan Greene is a retired independent insurance agent of thirty-five years. While working, he obtained his Master of Biblical Studies and Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Evangelical Theological Seminary. This book was the doctoral dissertation. It was originally published in 2017 under the name Understanding Scripture. It is now published by GraceWord Publishing under the title Two Distinct Gospels of the New Testament.

In the book, the author introduces the three predominant systems of interpretation used by the majority of evangelical churches. He shares his personal journey of discovery and suggests the use of the dispensational system to gain a more cohesive understanding of the Bible. Many Christians will recognize the well- known evangelical pastors and professors who are quoted throughout the book. It is well worth the read for students of the Bible.
